Cats like warm places... Floor is usually cold as only bathroom has heating under floor. You can put for example sheet of cardboard on floor and cat parks on top of it. I've seen cats sleep in pretty weird but warm places like on top of hotplate, radiator or car engine.

I noticed this too when i tried to post some cat pictures, had to save them for when I was back in front of my laptop.

i think cats lay on top of thing slike dogs do to be high up, where they are safest x
