From Metaverse to Cataverse

As information technology advances, creating and organizing virtual communities becomes easier. The old hierarchical structures are decaying, which can be observed in the mainstream ideologies.

The fear of an invisible enemy is the highest in human history, while people carry cloths on their faces and line up for gene therapies. Censorship is high and divide between reality and propaganda is getting wider, as lies are covered with even more scams.

At the times of great deceit, telling the personal truth is an revolutionary act. That cannot be done in certain platforms, so taboos must be broken face to face and on blockchains, such as Hive.

The old folk knowledge and esoteric art is replaced with meaningless nonsense and ugly scribbles, fear of god has changed to fear of protein chains and the neighbors. The world has gone upside-down in under 2 years.

But as the time goes by and the lies become more obvious, more and more people start looking for alternatives. That is where the new ways of communicating and storing information comes in.

Personally have been organizing alternative groups for a long time, from Timebanks to local activist groups. Made a lot of noise about the need for new ways of thinking, but the time has not become yet for those.

As an adventurer taking pictures of cats has created a nickname Catman, so creating a feline-themed community is the current focus. Derived from that is Catventurist, and curiosity of Metaverse concept led into designing a Cataverse.

Now backpacking in Southern Spain makes programming more challenging. Making travel videos with a good friend
Travel Addict Guy has led to an YT community with wonderful people, but the communication is highly limited due the exceptional censorship and shadowbans.

Telegram is still pretty good, so created a group for people interested in an advanced ways of making decisions together and communicating directly, without taboos:

It is possible to create a totally decentralized platform on top of Hive, so might use the programming skills if enough people get interested. All the tools are free and secure, so just need to combine everything together.
