When I was in my fourth year of the University, we had a botanical symposium and exhibition where different plants and plant derivatives were on display for sales and appreciation as well as different Herbal doctors and scientists being invited to give talks on herbal medicine and it's usefulness in African culture and society. Me, being a part of the exhibition and Symposium as a botany student, as the program went by, I stood up to go outside to take a look at some of the plant derivatives on display then all of a sudden, I heard the words "Nathalia buy heart of Jesus plant" I turned and it was my classmate talking to me as she showed me a very beautiful plant with red traces on it in a garden pot. We should always ensure that in Our daily lives when people see us they should think of Jesus and Mary. Our way of life and manner of approach, should reflect Jesus' virtues such that when people see us they would be excited to show us something that reminds us about Jesus and Mary. How do we do this? By living a holy life. It doesn't mean that we have to be angry looking, bitter, harsh to people or put up a holier than Thou attitude. It only means that we have to be cheerful at all times no matter what we are going through. Radiate God's happiness. Laugh very often. Just like Fr. Russell wrote in his treatise on the Secret to a happy Christian life, It says "Our conscience will be joyous and peaceful if it knows not remorse, if we are careful not to offend God. To fly from sin is therefore the chief source of happiness on earth. If Our conscience is pure, our life will be happy. Their are none happier than the Saints for there are none more innocent".
The Month of the Sacred Heart has begun, let us ask Our Lord to hide us in his scared heart, the cleft of the rock of ages❤️

Sweet heart of Mary, Be my Salvation.
