Greetings fellow Steemians,
Today was another nice sunny, hot and petrolhead oriented day. :) Went to visit AMD Gaj - race track in Cerklje on Krki (Slovenia) for the first time, it officially opened in the end of last year and is the only real race track in Slovenia.
Had about an hour drive there with no trafic. Weirdly I had problems with GPS finding it, then a local told me the way, 2 minutes from the village, hidden behind the woods.
When I got there it was like love on first sight, hearing loud race car melodies and smelling petrol in the air. There wasn't a lot of people because it was practise and "taxi" rides and few drove with their own cars.
Definatly my favorite of the day, totally modified Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Racecar.
There were several little Renault Twingo beasts.

There was a lot of ///M-Power. :)

I really enjoyed the first visit to AMD Gaj race track, looking foward on a race day, hope you enjoyed and have a nice weekend. :)

When did they build this track?
This was a millitary airport, I think they built a polygon in 1992 known as Mobikrog, 2016 they renewed the race track and upgraded it to meet all race track standards , now known as AMD Gaj. Have you ever heared about it?

I knew that they are talking for years about the racing track, but I didn't know that exist.
I knew they talked about it, and thought it was closed for a long time, but website is saying othervise
