Nice to see some DIY work. I should say that for a racer and fast/cheap mod of making its looks better this is not a bad idea. I admit that there isn't a better thing than full, nice restoration. Tell us more about the engine, will you keep the original or plant in something more modest?

As for the engine, we will be keeping it but we have a lot of desert where we are located so we are planning on using the car to go out to the desert and have fun. When the engine blows we are going to put an m50 engine in it which is an inline 6 bmw engine. Following you now!
