I think Ford's marketing (or lack thereof) worked so much better than that of the Acura NSX. The NSX was presented way to early. It wasn't even driveable and it was presented countless times before it was finished. By the time it reached production it was already old news and somewhat forgotten. Maybe this is just the impression I get from my news sources, but it would be fun to find out how well the sales of the NSX went. Nice and informative post;)

First, Thank You for the compliments - - I'm glad to see you and so many others enjoyed it. Second, I agree that the Acura team either introduced the Concept too early, or they took far too long within their Development team to bring the Final Product to Production. Lastly, according to Honda's published Sales numbers for the U.S. (issued Jan. 3, 2018) , they had NSX Full Year Vehicle Sales of 581 / 269 for 2017 / 2016 CY's respectively - - keeping in mind that they just started selling the NSX in 2016 CY.
