Classic Car & Truck Show Vehicles (Vehicle Spotlight # 9): 1962 Chevrolet Corvette

in #cars7 years ago

Our ninth vehicle that receives our Classic Car Show spotlight is a truly spectacular burgundy 1962 Chevrolet Corvette.

Speaking of the “Cream of the Crop”, or as they say in France “Crème de la Crème”, you will be very hard pressed to find another 1962 Corvette in finer show car condition than the one you are about to behold here.

Starting under the hood, you will find a Chevrolet High Performance Big Block 572 CiD V8 Performance Engine, that is guaranteed to crank out over 700-hp, mated with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission - - Ouch!!  Further, the amount of chrome under the hood is just phenomenal, and not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere.

The exterior is a beautiful dark burgundy, with just the adequate amount of chrome necessary to accentuate and highlight the vehicle’s curves perfectly.

The interior is customized to the 10’s, and you look at it left wondering if it ever held an occupant in any of the seats. The burgundy Instrument Cluster has the appearance of a standalone Instrument pod amidst the surrounding pure white material, and the high-polished aluminum Steering Wheel.

In summary, this burgundy Chevrolet Corvette is a Classic Show Car masterpiece, and truly the “Crème de la Crème” or “Best of the Best”.
