nice post cryptoinsight ! 168 hp by a small 1.2 L engine !!! great cabrio for a reasonable cheap price (i love those exhausts) , i think they can hit the Mazda MX 5 easily. is the hood by carbon?

Thanks for the comments! It's funny you should mention Mazda MX 5, the Fiat 124 Spider (including the Abarth version) are made at Mazda's Plant in Japan (under an agreement with Mazda), then shipped to Italy for Final Assembly for some minor remaining items. Of course the Design is Italian / Fiat, and I believe the Powertrain is Fiat as well, the main purpose of having these joint manufacturing agreements is to save on labor costs (other known automobiles are done in this same fashion).

As far as the Hood (and Trunk deck as well), since there was nothing written up citing unique alloy or carbon fiber materials utilized for these items, the look & feel of these items led me to believe they just utilized a matte paint finish on them to give it an overall unique appearance.

Thank You!
