Speed trial in the UK

A Good Friend of mine Tyler D P wanted to build a copy of an Alfa Carabo , I gave him one of my MK1 Jags as the Wheelbase was about right .

Took the Body off and used the Floorpan , Jag Front suspension , Audi Gearbox with Rover V8 Mid mounted.

Hand Built the Car out of Metal! ( Did I mention that he was the Head of Mercedes Benz's own Panel Beating Shop in South Africa?)

He had it all together , needed a bit of finishing off , and Tyler died under terrible circumstances, the car went to a young lawyer friend of his, and as far as I know , was never finished!

I took over my Brother David's blue MK2 3.4 and used it while I was employed at Automotive Equipment, in Isando.

I unfortunately sold off the Coombs Jag , first stripping off the Head and selling it to Roland W , which caused me to lose interest in doing anything Further with it.

I sort of lost interest in the Jag's as I had got back into playing in Band's and collecting Motorcycles again.

I did ,later on acquire a Series 2 XJ6, but will save that story for another Day.

I have owned quite a few interesting Car's and will do posts on them
