Another Car that Brian took an interest in was the Fiat X19
I know he fitted a 2 litre Cosworth Ford Motor in one for somebody else!
Was so impressed with it bought one himself ( minus a motor, of course!)
We had a single seater Formula that used Modified Mazda Rotary motors in South Africa, making in excess of 250HP.
To Brian this was an obvious choice, then!
This is a X19 chasing a Ferrari, with a 240HP Acura motor fitted!
So Brian's would have been a bit quicker than this!

Being one of the first mid-engined production Sports Cars they handled like a dream , and even with the standard 1500cc motor , did not go to badly.
Generally considered to be Ladies Car's as they were quite pretty .
A lot of Tuners, Worldwide, did some very interesting and Quick Conversions on them!
