Cardano blockchain just updated their roadmap few minutes ago, providing a tremendous update on their sidechain & IELE smart contracts virtual machine. As far as I know there no single blockchain at this date which has announced such an advanced progress on the sidechain technology allowing inter-blockchain asset operability. It seems like Cardano managed a breakthrough here and announced a 50% implementation progress here. Same for their new virtual machine IELE developed by Runtime Verification of Prof Grigore Rosu from the University of Illinois. Here we will have a test version deployed in April and the community will be able to run tests on it. Not sure how this update will influence the currency exchange rate, but for sure this update today convinced me of the transparency and dedication from the Cardano team to build a better Ethereum and make indeed a difference. For me Cardano is the Apple of the new Web 3.0, just like Eos = Google and Steemit = Facebook. What do you think about the latest roadmap update? https://cardanoroadmap.com
Cardano is obviously a currency with a future working on it in the academy with many interesting options for smart contracts but there are many coins with a good future like EOS NEO and more, you never know what will take them all
Not every time a new ROADMAP comes out that means something about a company.
Agree that roadmap updates are just updates, but in terms of transparency and scientific research I havent seen any blockchain coming so far with regard to sidechains: https://eprint.iacr.org/2017/963.pdf. For me a great sign.
