I was buying some this week; looking at what I got, and wondering if it was trimmed by a machine.. it looks like it was trimmed with scissors but it's a serrated edge, and I can tell the outside of the flowers have been scraped by a machine and are missing the usual ornament of trichome heads!
It was really bothering me, and I was wondering why I'm getting it inexpensively; and now I know I need to find a farmer who doesn't use this machine; but I think they are all using it with the suppliers I currently have.
Very annoying, and lower quality; I'm sure they don't care; it just makes operations easier; a lot less work; and they make about the same, for less work..

Got to start growing my own again.
