Hey all,
This is my first Steemit post, and I am a cannabis enthusiast and want to bring some Cannatalk and videos/demos to the community!!
Today I am going to go a picture guide to some at home Rosin!
What you need:
.2 - .5 gram nugget of cannabis
Hairstraightener
Parchment paper
Dab tool (preferably w/ large surface area)
I use a $20 Pink Remington hair straightener found at your local Target, the lowest temperature it goes to is 310F degrees, which may seem too hot, but for some low cost dabs it is surprisingly high quality.
Turn on your hairstraightener (310F) and while it heats up tear a piece of parchment that will allow enough space for multiple presses and fold it in half.
When the straightener is to temperature place your nug of weed in the folded parchment and place it on the straightener.
Gently press the straightener down until the nugget is almost squished flat, then apply full force directly down onto the nugget.
Press with full force for 2-7 seconds depending on how dense the bud is (the more dense the longer) and how much pressure you are able to exert.
*when full force is applied the nugget will sizzle a little bit (depending on water content and oil content) this is OK.
Remove the parchment from the straightener and gently pop the paper to free the squished nugget from the middle.
Place the squished nugget on the other side of the parchment paper and press once again.
**The second press will be more oily the longer it is pressed so a shorter time may be easier to get off the parchment paper.
Now open the parchment paper on a flat surface and begin to collect with the dab tool. Generally a 45 degree angle of a flat tool collecting the oil on the downward facing side of the tool works best for me.
Finally, enjoy!
Thank you for taking the time to follow my walkthrough!

I'm always partial to a blue dream. D. and I had some live resin a while back, I think it was skywalker OG. That's probably my favorite concentrate I've had recently.
Mmmm Blue Dream is mightly tasty! My favorites are Durban Poison, Malawi Gold, and GreeeennnCraaaackkkkk!!! Live resin is nu far my favoritr style of concentrate, especially when I make it!!
