Going Organic

IMG_0515.JPG I've wanted to write a story in steemit for months now, I've never actually written any stories or posted a single blog anywhere. So, pardon my ineptitude on forming proper structure and lack of interesting content. I'm just hoping as I write this I can manage to bring value to someone reading it.
I can start about myself, I'm a father of 5, married, business owner and radical thinker. I have been liberatarian for years before I knew there was a word for how I felt and what I believed. But, I've always believed I should be able to make decisions in my life as long as I don't hurt or hinder another human being. I think these beliefs grew and spawned over numerous psychedelic adventures, but those, hopefully are for another story. So, onto my blog...
16years ago a friend of mine moved into my house and brought baby pot plants and I set up my very first grow room. Before mass literature on the internet we learned through trial and error. From that point in a small 'secret' room in our basement and small bags of used dirt and blue and pink miracle grow to multiple illegal grow ops trying to pull off the big dirty.
About 7 years ago, I had improved my skills, but I was losing a lot of sleep thinking about the potential of getting arrested or just having my door kicked in in front of my wife and kids, when I came across the Canadian legislation which allowed for designated medical growers. Few doctors were giving out cannabis prescriptions, this was before the times doctors realized there was a profit to be made selling large unrealistic prescriptions. But, through the Internet, I was able to find individuals who needed cannabis but weren't physically able to grow their own. And, so, my journey as a legal medical grower began. The days of miracle grow were over, I had tried 3 part fertilizer programs, different hydro and aeroponic systems, but for the first time, I was growing for someone who really needed cannabis and his immune system was not going to tolerate additional chemicals and pesticides and all the other things advertisers had sold me to grow the biggest crops.
This is when I started full research of organic growing methods. Using soil mixtures combining peat, manures, worm castings, perlite, lime and organic tea additives. I turned to natural predators to eliminate and deal with mites and other pests that are inevitable. I came to realize that I had fewer issues growing and successful crops over and over and a product that is second to none. It's always clean, never have pest infestations, with all the smell and taste god meant for this medicine to have.
If I can find a point to my story is, I operate in a grey area around the law, my grow site is completely legal and I can legally carry cannabis, so no more sleepless nights. But the most important thing I learned is that the criminalization of cannabis should be the crime itself. I am able to help people who are truly grateful to be able to get off of opiates and have a medicine that is safe and effective. With the world changing, everyone knows someone who has benefited from cannabis and I want to continue to do my part and help anyone looking to grow for themselves or someone who needs it. I would like to use this space as a platform to interact with future growers and answer any questions I can and help answer any questions on shipping of cannabis (in Canada) and the growing and the setup and the strain of choice.
I've also listed products that I grow and manufacture in the nxt marketplace. I have a million thoughts and stories and I hope with some interaction, I'm able to keep posting and having constructive conversations with open minded people of this world.

Thanks for providing cannabis. I illegally medicated for decades, with cannabis from guys like you. Thank you. :)

I can't tell you how pumped I am about getting a reply. I hope I did my part and I try to help educate people in my everyday life of the both positive and less often negative affects of cannabis, but the right of people to make their own choices in life. Getting a reply gives me motivation to get it together and try to break down my process and specific stories about the adventures I've had growing. @thecleangame all the best.

Sharing... is what the world needs more of, especially quality cannabis. :)

Ya, I'm probably old school, I've tried led and other new products always to be let down. You seen those work in real life? blockchainguru34
I've got the only add on the nxt marketplace with a picture. Judging by the crypto prices, I'll have to lower the asking price. I'd like to write my next article about the experience I have shipping it over the last 7 years.
We looked at doing upgrades but the uncertainty of the new legislation keeps us from spending too much capital, the market is also pretty pretty saturated where I am.
But I'll have a look for sure! Thanks for the reply
