Cannabis vs euthanasia (Drs prefer the latter)

By now, most people are well aware of the medicinal benefits of cannabis. You're also likely aware that in Australia we are making moves to legalise it for medicinal use. Right now we are told it is legal, but the red tape makes it near impossible to get a prescription... Even if you are about to drop dead.
What most people are not aware of though is the fact that many Dr's choose another illegal option instead. The stigma still attached to marijuanna and the disinformation ingrained into Doctors by the pharmacuetical industry makes it so unsavoury to certain Doctors that they still choose to euthanaise a child rather than give them Cannabis as medication.
Right now it is likely your brain ia screaming bullshit at you... But read on. I will give you a short story, no names mentioned, and this is the ugly truth.
Epilepsy medication is quite nasty. Most of us know the everyday kind is nasty but the kind the hospital gives you if a seizure won't stop is even worse. It shuts down a persons who body. They need to be revived once treated. If a seizure does not stop in time for them to be revived, they will become braindead. Every organ shuts down and stays that way.
A little girl used to get seizures, her father would treat her with cannabis oil. Even the Doctors could see how quickly it stopped a seizure. They allowed the medication to be administered...until one day...the father waa told he was no longer allowed to administer the treatment. Police and cps would be called if he did. So instead they forced him to allow them to shut down his daughters body, this method rarely stopped seizures for her, but cannaoil always did. When the seizures were not stopping he asked, what do we do, what is the plan. He was told if they didnt stop in time they would give her too much morphine and let her slip away. He was told they would euthanaise his daughter...like the family pet, and that is exactly what happened! They took her life rather than allow her to have A PLANT. She was eight years old.
What kind of world do we live in where Doctors will take a childs life (which is illegal) before using an illegal substance to save her life?
This is the world we live in. Murder has less consequence than marijuanna.
