The only thing in the world of candy that I can think of that is both a color and a flavor which do not have to be the same in each piece of candy, is of course Orange!!! Obviously orange candy that is flavored like the citrus fruit will be colored orange but they also use all kinds of orange variations on things that have no connection to the citrus like m and ms, skittles and tons of others. The science behind food coloring and dyes is pretty amazing, they have developed an incredible system of super detailed lists and charts for every single color and variation from bright to dark, and everything in between too. I would love to speak to someone who works in that field it must be so interesting to test what colors encourage people to eat more and entice them to buy the products.
