Experts announced that insomnia disorders and lack of sleep may become a starting point for cancerous disease develops very quickly.
Researchers at the University of Chicago have divided laboratory mice into two groups. One of them was exposed to factors that made her wake up several times during sleep. A week later, they were injected with cancer cells. Scientists confirmed the development of tumors at 9-12 days, twice the size of the other group. It developed at a very rapid pace and spread to surrounding healthy tissue.

The scientists believe, according to Okaz, that the reason is that the lack of sleep adversely affect the activity of the gene known as TLR4, a biological vector of information on the immune system of the body, increasing the chances of development of cancer.
