A species of tarantula or spider monkey on the island of Margarita (Venezuela).

Today when I was cleaning at the bottom where I live, in the undergrowth I found this tarantula, hairy spider or cute spider as we say in Venezuela, these species build burrows or reuse those abandoned by rodents and their hunting territory is limited to a few meters around its burrow, its diet consists mainly of invertebrates such as cockroaches, giant centipedes, beetles, crickets, grasshoppers and also occasionally small rodents and lizards. It is of solitary habits and is only related during mating, they have a hairy body, and those hairs, which are irritating, act as a method of defense against predators. Its venom is not even less deadly, its chelycer produces a deep wound and the pain can last for about 48 hours, as well as nausea and sweating. Another form of defense consists in throwing stinging (irritating) hairs that they possess in their abdomen, which the human does not cause major problems, except if there is contact with the eyes or mouth.

Here is the spider walking when I released it.

Conozca algo de ellas por lo menos está tiene veneno pero no es tan peligrosa .

Omg he's living on there! jk Nice Tarantula!!

That's disgusting. Thank you for showing us.

Hay que tener mucho cuidado con ellas porque sueltan pelos para defenderse aparte del veneno que ellas tienen.

That guy is so dangerous yet you made friends with him! I would probably not risk it, so that makes you brave :)

Amigo hay que tener mucha precaución para manipular estos tipos de animales venenosos.
