In February this year I took a trip to Panorama ski resort in British Columbia, Canada.
It was my first time visiting the west of Canada and I was really excited for the opportunity to ski in this fantastic resort. As it happened, I only managed to last a day (and a few hours) due to taking a bad fall which required a trip to the hospital and a long time in recovery (and an operation still to come).
Although I injured myself really early on in the trip, I still managed to see many beautiful sights, and drink many a cocktail whilst sunbathing at the bottom of the slopes waiting for the rest of my party to join me.

Love the Panorama resort, it is absolutely gorgeous. Very sorry to hear about your injury, unfortunately they are an all too common part of the skiing industry. Glad to hear it didn't completely ruin your trip and lets be real sightseeing & après ski drinking is almost a bigger part of the skiing experience than the actual skiing is. Try not to let the injury turn you off to the idea of skiing more in the future.
