Everyone thinks differently and you are somewhat right too! But my point here is what if you work day and night and put all you efforts in some research and than when you finally post it on your Steemit blog neither you get much votes nor any of the blogger appreciate it (just because you don't have much followers). Will that scenario make you feel disappointed? To me yes it will. The main purpose of this campaign is to join people so your quality content can be shared and seen by masses!
And its not begging its win win situation, you follow me and i will follow you back. Both are in gain my friend :)
