Google Pixel 2 Camera Review : 

The Good: Google's Pixel 2 has a superb camera with OIS and excellent low-light shooting. It's water-resistant and Google Lens calls up a trove of information to help you explore your surroundings.

The Bad: The phone's battery doesn't keep pace with the Pixel's competitors and its Portrait Mode isn't as smooth as on dual-camera phones. Its design feels dated and it doesn't have wireless charging or a headphone jack.

The Bottom Line: Buy the Pixel 2 for the best camera on any Android phone and fast Google updates, but skip it if you can't live without a headphone jack or a standout design. 

iPhone X Camera Review :

The Good:  The camera on the iPhone X is very similar to the one on the iPhone 8 Plus, with some very small differences.

For instance, while both have a dual 12MP sensor array (for taking zoomed-in pictures, or capturing depth perception in a scene) the iPhone X has an f/2.4 aperture, where on iPhone 8 Plus it’s f/2.8, and only the wide-angle lens has optical image stabilization.Before we get too far into the performance of the rear camera, let's talk about the front-facing TrueDepth camera, which is a 7MP affair but with some smart capabilities to make the iPhone one of the best selfie-taking cameras on the market.The camera, as the name suggests, can sense depth incredibly well, so the new Portrait mode – debuted on the iPhone 8 Plus – can be used with the front-facing camera to take excellent selfies.Not only will this blur the background, you can also use the Portrait options to change the lighting of the scene, or cut yourself out of the picture altogether and place yourself on a black background.The lighting alterations, adding things like contoured lighting to your visage, don't really add a huge amount, and some of the 'stage lighting' pictures that cut you out of the image don't always trace the edges of your head and body perfectly. 

The Bad : It would be difficult to argue that the iPhone X is anything but Apple’s best iPhone ever. Unveiled on Tuesday during Apple’s huge press conference in Cupertino, the iPhone X sports a stunning new design that has Apple fans giddy with anticipation. The phone features a large 5.8-inch OLED display that takes up almost the entire front side of the handset, and a smooth glass back that enables wireless charging. Sandwiched between them is a beautiful stainless steel midframe that continues meets the slight curves at the edges of the glass to form continuous lines that look fantastic.Of course, the iPhone X is as much about “go” as it is “show,” with a class-leading A11 chipset that blows away every Android phone on the planet. The iPhone X truly has no equal… and yet it’s far from perfect.
