The #SouthBayBend was epic. I ejaculated a little. I didn’t drive 100 mph. I was chillin.

Those freeway signs look familiar--I used to live in L.A. for years. The freeway traffic was, at times, like a creeping parking lot. In order to get north or south from or to the South Bay area in faster time, I used surface streets that ran through South Central L.A. - Redondo Blvd, Hauser Blvd, and for cross town in Hollywood - Fountain Ave.
Yes the “South Bay Bend” is usually bad and I thought I snapped a picture while it was empty.
Good technique. I like surface streets best in the morning and afternoon.
It looks like a ghost town. Merry Christmas to you, from a truly desolate place: the third world hahahaha
Yes, it’s a rare site to see. The only other regular day of the week close to this is Sunday morning and maybe some other holidays.
So usually that highway is very congested?.
Good time to make a tent and enjoy there 😃
lol, but in real life. There’s already lots of people doing that. Except they don’t have homes… maybe cars.
Yes, I have seen reports especially on skidrow, a big problem, many drug addicts, fentanyl destroying lives.
First world problems! (It's not that they are better than the problems we have, they are still just as serious).
Skid Row is a slight indication, but it’s almost supposed to be that way. I’m pretty sure Skid Row was designed to be, “a place to put them.” A greater indication would be an abundance of homelessness situations outside of Skid Row. Along the sides of the freeways and the sides of the LA River bed. I see lots of camps set up where the LA River meets a street overpass.
Yes, well said. I know others who say, “it’s all relative.”
Thanks for your comments, stay cool.
I have no doubt that those in power do so as a "dumping ground for human beings."
The reality that you mention in the surroundings of LA River is terrible, very sad. The saddest thing is that those who have the power and the means do nothing to help these people, decent work at least.
It's always a pleasure to visit you friend.

I hate the 405, especially during rush hour. When I used to work out of town for the week I would fly into LAX, and it took an hour just to make Long Beach, a 15 minute ride max!

Thanks for your comment. I know what you mean.
The carpool lanes don’t help. Driver etiquette, and desperation to be in or out of the carpool lane frustrates all the regular over abundance of silliness.
I basically tell myself that if it involves a freeway it’s gonna take an hour to get there. 🤷♂️
I deal with tourists and I remind them to enjoy one area at a time. I say if they’re going to Orange County plan to be there all day and avoid traffic by leaving after eight. I tell them to visit everything in LA and save time and avoid traveling back-and-forth between counties.
Most people appreciate it.
