Same here. I am actually not a big fan of the two others to be honest, but I had already posted the third one (which I am very happy with) a few months ago, so I was desperate to find some fresh beach material for the contest.
Shooting a 6x4.5 sideways to get an horizontal orientation is not weirder than shooting sideways on any other camera to get a vertical. I guess you get used to it very quickly. That being said I would probably not recommend it if you shot mainly horizontals. I find it hard to focus especially, especially since the patch on my GS645S is really small and dim, so unless I am zone-focusing, I typically have to focus vertically then recompose horizontally.
Very nice, my favorite is the last image. Your horizon is so straight and placed perfect in the frame. Is it weird shooting a 645 sideways?

I like them all! what a great feeling! well done!
Thanks, I am glad you like them all !!
That's fascinating to me. How long have you been shooting medium format?
I'm still very new to this, which might explain my enthusiasm! I bought my GS645S about a year ago, and my Yashica Mat about 6 months ago I guess.
Nice photos!
Thanks!
Nice series!
Thanks!
My pleasure!
