Any good camera will have a b&w photo setting, even an iPhone. Also any decent photo editor will be able to change any color into b&w.

yes I know any photo editor will able to do the B&W effect, but I want to know what do you use particularly?
The post said that I used a canon t2i of which has multiple settings including a b&w setting. I also used a 2.8 canon zoom lens like in the photo at top.
so you shoot completely in B&W? Because I would've shot in a normal mode then convert it later.
Most of the time I don't shoot in B&W unless there is a specific reason to do so, especially with how easy it is to convert. Though approaching photography from a perspective of making it in B&W is a different mind set. Lots of color photos don't look so great black and white.
I thought so too. B&W isn't easy, the highlight of the subject is really important.
Yea all about the shadows and contrast!
