It was an honor to be able to judge such a fantastic contest. Obviously @papa-pepper really likes animals, so what better category of Black & White photos could I have picked to judge. From tiny insects to huge mammals, from common cats to more obscure leeches, from live birds to dead fish, the Steemians really brought the variety this week. Of course it is always tough to make decisions like this, but in the end I had to pick some favorites. Thanks to everyone who entered! It was a blast seeing all of your creativity and hard work!

Those are all really good. Wishing I would have put up a black and white I had of Zebras in Kruger park now. Hindsight haha. Can't wait to see the next contest theme!

Thanks @daveks I think we have to find the beauty of darkness. We always think negative about dark. Have a look the above pictures. These are all beautiful even, these are black and white.
