Wow, that was an enjoyable task! I was only able to feature 10 photos here in the winners and honourable mentions but I really encourage you to check out, not only the photographers who have their work featured here but also to hit the #bwphotocontest tag and check out all of the fantastic entries!
Water featured in many of these photos, it certainly makes for a wonderful reflector!

Yes, again. This shot has wonderful symmetry, strongly reinforced by the use of black and white. It's also very simply visually without unnecessary details to distract the viewer.

In this digital age everyone can take pictures. Not hard, just aim, press the button, and so. Even a small child can do that. But to be able to shoot well, of course there are certain techniques that we must read and follow.

My hairdresser said she could not understand why anyone would go to a photographer for family photos when everyone has a camera these days. I told her that everyone has scissors too.

Such shots inspires me to buy a wonderful DSLR camera and to learn the techniques of capturing such amazing photos as i have an old one. I shal do that , let the best time come for it.

An awesome theme that inspires people! Reflection reflects in not only quality of the image but also idea of the photographer.. and the black and white effect keeps things strangely deep and purely beautiful ..
Personally my heart goes to the second-prized photo of @kuenok (not because we're friend in person lol) but all others are so convincing and well-deserved.
