In my own experience, I use an Idol 4, it was promised the software update nougat or 7. so far all the stock apps have been updated routinely, then I noticed the ads... my default built in stock calculator...now had ads wtf?? and its not just that... the file manager has a crap ton of ads to! I could install malware by mistake because of little stunts like this!! sorry but alcatel already lost in my mind.
