"AMOTEKUN"...Must Nigeria go her way????

AMOTEKUN, a yoruba word , meaning a ferocious leopard has been trending for weeks now in the Nigerian trado - political landscape. This is because , the western states of Osun , Lagos , Ekiti, Ondo, Oyo and Ogun having being overwhelmed by security challenges , especially from heinous crimes committed by marauding migratory fulan8 hersdsmen; they considered it germaine to institute a savvy protective security organisation capable of providing security across the zone since the federal government controlled security apparati seems incapable in providing the necessary security coverage across Nigeria.

This noble effort , which ought to be commended , has however generated so much controversy recently before it was tactically sanctioned by the federal government .

But why these controversies in the first place?

Could it be associated with the alleged scheming by the Muslim dominated , Buhari led goverment to surreptitiously force Islam as a state religion contrary to the desire of many more Christians in Nigerians???

Can "Amotekun" provide the necessary security to ward off sundry miscreants , especially the herdsmen from the incessant kidnappings and banditory being unleashed on the citizenry of Western Nigeria??

Should other regions copy this security outfit for their the security of their people???

Will "Amotekun" accelerate the disintegration of corporate Nigeria as being bandied by some Northern elements ??
