The thing I keep hearing is that we are not retaining minnows, who are supposedly good content creators. It gets repeated over and over. However, no one can name them or show examples of their work.
Many of us feel the most valuable asset we can have is an active community. I think there are some who promote the idea that everyone can and should earn. I however don't think that is likely.
When the alt-coin winter is over and we attract new users the idea that people are going to continue to earn large amounts will surely meet reality.

I don’t remember getting any training at all. Much less retraining.
It is totally a sink or swim setting, that means, no training, no hand holding, find your audience, find your people...
The self-sufficient will survive.
