Shahidul Alam's lawyer Sara Hossain said the petition was sent to the Superintendent of Dhaka Central Jail on Friday.

Today on Saturday, Sarah Hossain said in the first light, Shahidul Alam's family members had already met him in jail. Family members said that Shahidul Alam could not eat properly due to pain in his mouth, suffering from respiratory and eye trouble. In this situation, the application was sent to the prison authorities on Eid Day (August 22) for the treatment of Shahidul Alam. On that evening, he was given medical treatment at the jail hospital. However, due to the change in the situation, thanks to the steps taken in the first phase, the application was sent to e-mail in the second round of the jail superintendent of Dhaka Central Jail in Keraniganj.

It has been appealed to show Shahidul Alam's unique health examination and to give him medical treatment. Shahidul Alam did not have these problems before taking custody.

Earlier on Friday, Shahidul's wife Rehnuma Ahmed and colleague Sayedia Gulrukh urged him to take him to the hospital on urgent occasions. They said that on Eid, they went to meet Shahidul in Keraniganj jail. Shahidul then told them that he suffers from pain and eye trouble in shortness of breath, jaw and mari. But before the police took her home, she had no such health problem.

On August 6, police took Shahidul Alam seven-day remand in a seven-day remand in the case of Information Technology Act on charges of promoting 'provocative false' in the movement of students demanding safe road.

On 5th August DB lifted Shahidul Alam from Dhanmondi home. But the wife of Rehmana Ahmed filed the writ on 7 August seeking the legality of sending torture and remand to Shahidul Alam and to send him to the hospital for treatment, on which the High Court ordered the hearing on that day.
