SUNDAY LIGHT IS OVER
BY STEPHEN UGO ESQUIRE.
Every Sunday in Nigeria
Road busy with people
As Early as 5:00 am
Pastors in church by 3:30 am
Church service for 4 hours
Congregation hungry and tired
Pastor begging for more time
William saw bread beside him
Unknown to him it was Stephen
Offering time
My pocket goes empty
Back to my sit
With despair and agony
Holy communion time
My joy returns
But yesterday I slapped Ada
For stepping on me
Am forced to sit
My Conscience faild me
My only Sunday light deprived from me
For I am a sinner.
