We recognize that the way the curation algorithm works means that most of our members do not earn much curation from upvoting our posts.
That's why the muliplier has been applied (assuming 0 curation from voting on us, an upvote of 0.10 will get you 0.134 added to your balance, which results in author rewards of 0.10). Then if you do get any curation from voting on us, that's just bonus!

And we do have two backup services in place to help prevent our comments from turning into dust.
