RE: Do You Know The Real Value Of Steem and its Ecosystem ?

in #busy7 years ago (edited)

But do we want 'investors looking for a quick return'? I'd rather see people in for the long haul, so I can stop recording my crypto wealth @ -20% as a caution against the instability.

Also, I stumbled across this post on the trending page - while it's useful in that I can bookmark it and use it as a 'hub page' to explore many of the developments mentioned I wouldn't classify it as 'good', more 'quite useful but could be a lot better', and a reflection (of which I am also guilty) of a 'got to churn something out today so that'll do - POST' mentality.

With another day or so spent explaining more about how each of those applications work, putting some aspects of the post in more layman's terms, and correcting some pretty basic grammar and typo errors it could be categorised as 'good'.

I can literally feel this in the way the post is not quite completed properly - and if we had a slower burn rewards system, I'm sure the author would've made it even better! To complete the circle of this comment - some SMT applications will hopefully do just this!

Still, it is useful for me in my exploration of the platform, and on the plus side gives me something to improve!

I am with you on this one! Great idea to see your crypto investments as a -20%, this way, you never take it for granted! ;) Thanks for such a wholesome comment!

Namaste :)

Good point raised..noted.Steem power is meant for long term investors and a win win for all. In addition, most points in this post are explained in detail in my older posts , feel free to click the links and read. Thanks for your comment.

Cheers for the reply - hope my last comment didn't come across as too critical! I just want people to accept that this platform DOES NOT encourage our BEST action. I will read those links, I'm getting to the point now where I'm closing my loop of understanding how everything works here. It should only take me 6 months to write it up!

I always love constructive criticism and thus liked you comment...keep up the good work buddy. I am following you now in order to stay in touch and send in my support.

And feel free to critique, I'm plenty guilty of non-perfection! Will follow back, I'm enjoying actually connecting with people on here. I notice you did and MBA at Warwick, I'm considering doing a (second) Masters degree in Big Data Analytics with them starting next year. In two minds though, as I don't think I actually need the qualification in this brave new social media age.

I think that learning new things is great...continous improvement is the way to more success.
