Steemit doesn't actually have the ability to stop it. They can only stop the information from appearing on steemit.com.
Yeah, I grok that. When I said pull the plug I only meant doing something similar to what they did with thedarklord.

I feel like they have a lot less incentive to take that stance. Gambling is a much more nuanced grey area from a legal perspective; Especially peer to peer gambling.
