Being a photographer is a fun job. Nevertheless, this work is quite complicated. We must be observant to see the moment and aim it with the camera.
If being an ordinary photographer is quite difficult, what if being a cat-specific photographer? Ask Masayuki Oki.
The man from Tokyo, Japan has been in the profession since 2014. He left his old job and turned into a special photographer local cat. He switched professions after meeting a unique local cat named Busanyan Senpai (a very funny ugly cat) while on a work break.
His favorite location to capture a local cat is Shitamachi, Tokyo. There, the cats can sleep, eat, and enjoy their time in a relaxed and happy way.
Although Masayuki new to the profession for four years. But he is good at targeting local cat moments. The expression of the cat in the photos that Masayuki produced looks unique and funny.
Masayuki shot for hundreds of times until finally getting a unique moment. "For years, I have been photographing cats for thousands of times," he said. Of the thousands of photographs he produced, he finally got the most epic moments of the animal.
He also has a special time in photographing the local cat. Usually, Masayuki will photograph the furry animals in the spring and fall.
"In both seasons, the cat enjoys the day and has a good mood," said Masayuki.
Masayuki unlocks the secrets that the best time to take a picture of a cat at four o'clock. "Cats will usually take a walk at four in the afternoon because they enjoy the sunset," he said.
Countless times Masayuki was scratched by cat's claws. The cats will scratch him as he tries to caress them after they fight with other cats.
