Kushtia's Deputy Commissioner (DC) has proposed to appoint one supervising officer in each district administration for the construction of buildings across the country like capital development authority (Rajuk) and city corporations. He said this in the second session of the last session of the district administrations conference, the conference sources said.

According to the sources, Kushtia DC said, in order to make recommendations on various issues in the conference, the permission to construct houses or buildings in Rajuk and City Corporation areas and follow many policies. But many buildings in rural and rural areas are being constructed throughout the country. But there is no one to supervise the construction of those buildings. Who is building a building like himself. In any case, the responsibility of the government is to take responsibility for these accidents.

Asked about the construction policy of the country, capital development authority (RAJUK) chairman Abdur Rahman told the Bengali Tribune, "There are government rules for building construction. Construction of houses or buildings is required to follow the building construction rules, including the area under RAJUK. If someone violates these rules, we first notice him. Still, if there is no correction, then there are provisions for breaking the house. We broke down many homes. In total, any homeowner will have to build a house in accordance with these rules. '

In this context, Feni municipality Chairman Ala Uddin told the Bangla Tribune, "Once the municipal mayor gave permission, the building could be constructed. But due to the collapse of Rana Plaza, the rules have changed now. Last three to four months ago they got a letter. In addition to municipalities, 11 public government departments, including public works, will be required to construct a building up to seven-storey in the district or municipality area. And to build the building over seven-storey, Fire Service will also have to get approval from Dhaka. And the municipality has to inform the authorities at the time of construction of any building in the municipality area. Then the municipal authorities go and check it out. '
