Engelberg is a great location for skiing. It's not so big a ski destination, but I find plenty ski pistes and activities here, that so far I don't have enough. Today I had the weather in the grille. Once the sun was shining, once the rain rained. Nevertheless, I am so rid of my energy after today skiing, that I am going to fall asleep immediately after I finish writing my steemit post.π΄

Engelberg ist ein schΓΆner Ort zum Skifahren. Es ist kein groΓes Skigebiet, aber ich finde hier einige Skipisten und AktivitΓ€ten, von denen ich bisher noch nicht genug habe. Heute habe ich das Wetter in vielen Facetten. Einmal scheint die Sonne, dann einmal Regen. Allerdings bin ich nach dem heutigen Skilaufen so sehr geschafft, dass ich sofort einschlafen werde, wenn ich mit dem Schreiben dieses Steemit Posts zu Ende bin. π΄

Seems you had a very fun day there. I don't like cold weather but my daughter pressing me to go for skiing. Next winter I will take her to Switzerland. Probably it will be Engelberg.

I went to Engelberg in the middle of Feb 2005. It had been snowing for 8 days non stop and the pistes were lovely. There was 5 metres at the top lift and 3 metres at the bottom. There was snow flicking off behind us and the slopes were knee deep powder. By Thursday skies had cleared and there were some amazing conditions on the slopes, especially the runs to the resort, which were excellent. Engelberg also has some excellent off piste skiing. Highly recommend resort.

Wie viele Pistenkilometer hat es in Engelberg? Tolle Fotos, war selbst letzten in Leogang ist auch ein tolles SKigebiet

I admire this kind of sport. Reason being I live in a location where it doesn't snow, so I always wonder how it will feel like, especially when one is experiencing it for the first time.

Although i don't live in an area where it snows much but yet there are afew regions in my country where this sport is very common. A sport of brave-hearts indeed. We call this a very friction less sport ;)
