Steemit Bots! And how to use them.

in #busy7 years ago

So what are Steemit Bots?

From my understanding (and I still don't have alot of understanding), they are somewhat automated if not completely automated accounts that perform specific tasks for SP (STEEM Power), STEEM or STEEM DOLLAR.

Why should I use it?

I know what you're thinking, why use something that cost money to get money, doesn't it defeat the purpose? Here's the thing, each bot has it's voting value which means the value of their vote vary but will nonetheless be more valuable than yours. An example is the @smartmarket bot. It has a minimum of 0.3 SBD for it's services and your returns as of last I checked (being this morning, Feb 10, 2018) 2.2x-2.5x it's value. Which means what ever amount you sent you'll receive in that order. This way you can calculate your returns. Here's a screenshot to help.

That should help. That is the @smartmarket bot.

Note

Alot of bots perform the same task but they all do them differently, do not assume all of them have the same minimum payment scheme, coz they don't. Neither do they upvote the same way. So one has to do their research before jumping in and making a transaction. I should know I almost lost some SBDs that way.

There is a website that will help

https://steembottracker.com
That is the website, you will find alot of bots, with different minimum payment schemes and different ways of upvoting. Do go through it thoroughly before you commit to anything.

I do hope this was helpful
