For example, if for you success translates into a quiet life, with a job where you can satisfy all your needs without necessarily having a high salary, can make you a successful person, remember that the definition of the term success as such is the "result happy of a business, acting, etc "and if your life as it is, it generates a feeling of comfort and happiness, it is good (this would not apply in case it is something related to your physical health, for example being fond of some kind of vice that in the long run, would affect your health).
The problem is when your life, as it is, makes you feel in a state of frustration and misery. Remember that accumulating material objects does not have to be an indicator of success, think of so many cases that we see in the media, of people who end their lives, although before the eyes of others they had "all" money, fame, social friction, etc. But that is something superficial, since inside you could have felt a great emptiness. We can not assume that a person is happy based on how much he has in his wallet or in his bank account, since those are only superficial details. The main thing is how we feel inside, how much satisfaction we feel in our life.
