HIS STORY (History😁)

I joined Steemit in August 2017 when @vwovwe, @samstickkz and @mrfelix spoke to me of the platform, with @vwovwe urging me to sign up ASAP. Agreed, I was nonchalant about the whole idea cos (if you're in Nigeria, you'll know that) about that time, there were a lot of online money-doubling schemes and I'd lost heavily to a lot of them.

Pressure pressured me to sign up, after which I forgot about the entire platform...till about Christmas Day, last year, when I went to see the trio (cos they stay in the same compound). What I saw, even these words can't tell the full story... @vwovwe had gotten a new phone (worth at least fifty thousand naira) and was worth over N500,000; @mrfelix paid the rent of the beautiful apartment I met them in, plus he fully funished it to very high luxurious taste and was worth over N1m; @samstickkz ...need I say more? He's among the creme de la creme of Nigerian Steemians and as at then, was worth over N4m just from Steemit.

I was then challenged to get serious on Steemit...and that was when I made my
introduction post and ever since, I've tried to consistently socailize and participate on Steemit: IF, TO FIND MYSELF, FROM CALM WATERS TO STEEM and Can I share some thoughts?, to mention a few post I've made...

Then came the challenge!

My sincere post weren't getting as much audience as I hoped they would

Payouts weren't encouraging, comments weren't forthcoming and nobody resteemed!
I was on the verge of giving up but friends like @ifioklee, @morgangreat, @otybest, @divineinyang and the #elite family encouraged me to keep posting and keep socializing.

They collectively told me that

• Steemit is Work!
• Never stop posting, you'll never know the post that'll introduce you to the world.
• When commenting, always add information to information.
• Tell more folks about Steemit.
• And finally, learn to say THANK YOU.

Till date, I haven't gotten to the first step of where I want to be on Steemit but I know with time, I'll get there.

I just smile and say

I'm not there yet but I'm on my way there. You should join Steemit now, before you begin to bug me when I make it oooh😁

My Steemit Journey begun January this year...and the travel has been adventrous so far. Everyday, I meet new folks. Everyday, I'm wowed by awesome content...and I learn a lot.

I hope to read more, know more so I can be more.

So, if you reading this also have same doubts and reservations I had, I hope this post has given you another reason to keep posting on Steemit.
