George Weah, Former Ballon d'Or winner, ran for President of Liberia in 2005 at age 39 & Vice President in 2011 at 45 & failed. He obtained an SSCE in 2006 at age 40, his degree (2011, aged 45), Master's (2013, aged 47).
He won a Senatorial election (2014, aged 48). He became Pesident-elect (2017, aged 51).
He has since asked his opponent in the immediate past Presidential election and outgoing Vice President, Joseph Boakai to select candidates to work in his government, to further promote national unity.
