Interesting thought on the printing money and I had this kind of discussion with a mentor regarding the pros and cons of botting.
I rarely look at the trending because you either see heavily botted pieces there or self voted/circle jerked by certain individuals . There are certain people who are as high as 25%-80% in self voting and voting for about less than 5 people.
Yes 'trending' has been ruined by both of the above. It is very rare that an article 'deserves' to be there due to community support/approval.
