Business Policy and Employee Manual

In order to enhance the ability of SANE to achieve market dominance, it is important that we avoid practices which would be dangerous to the profitability of the company. The rules as described here are designed to achieve that.
No Business decision should be made on the basis of social justice in any way, shape or form. This is a firing offense, on the first suggestion. Do not even try to use the race, color, creed or sex of a person as a reason for or against a decision.
The only caveat to this is if they are part of a violent creed, and have openly espoused violence.
SANE will do no business with any individual or company which has used or espoused violence, theft or fraud in furtherance of their goals, or knowingly funded such entities.
We will do no business with communists. Marxism is anathema to business, and anyone espousing Marxism or any of the points of the Communist Manifesto will be dismissed. SANE will divest from any country which “socializes” (i.e. steals) any business.
SANE will endeavor in all ways to avoid government entanglements, and any lobbying will be solely to avoid government regulatory burdens.
All SANE employees will dress professionally when acting on the behalf of the company in public.
Clothes will not be worn, torn or shabby, and will be clean.
Personal grooming will be kept up, Body Odor and halitosis will not be tolerated.
When not in public, only obnoxious breaches of personal grooming will be mentioned, and those will be treated courteously. We understand sometimes geeks forget such things.
SANE employees will endeavor to treat all other employees, clients, customers and members of the public with respect when on company time.
When on private time, only egregious breaches of courtesy will be subject to discipline.
In no case is an online comment made in your private persona ever an egregious breach, unless it espouses Communism, violence, theft or fraud.
SANE will have a policy of putting an offender on leave of absence during discussions of any discipline. Any terminated employee will not be allowed back into SANE property without constant escort, and will never be allowed access to any SANE computer equipment.
