Excellent post, it was really thorough. You've obviously learned a lot over this time, but there is one thing that is not totally correct.
Curators get up to 25% of the payout, not a flat 25%. If a lot of the Steem Power that upvotes you does so shortly after posting, your earnings will be much higher than 75%.
Doing a few quick calculations, in some of your previous posts, you've earned:
75.7%
76.1%
84.2%
76.3%
76.8%
78.7%
That's true, thanks for posting that. For people just discovering the platform the mere fact they can be rewarded just for curating content is very significant.
