Hi. I was recently given my independence from my job of 30+ years. (A little piece of advice...do not offend your supervisor) . I like your way better, by choice!

Anyway, I felt I was happy with my job too and was totally surprised I wasn't
devasted for the rest of my life. Instead I am here on Steemit exploring new opportunities! Hopefully it won't be long before I can write them a thank you note for firing me as I have the time now to understand there is much more to life than a job.

Being given my 'independence' has been an awakening, enlightening and I am ready to make a run out of it.
