I love Valve's employee handbook and how they want T shaped skill sets. This thinking is very applicable to freelance workers.

Yup it is! I attended a design thinking course a few years ago and they pretty much do the same thing. I really think anyone on Steemit should take more notice of this paradigm because it's applicable here.. even as a community or if you join up projects around here :)

I posted a video about something called "holacracy" - a concept that seems related - a couple months ago, in Order in Business Without Top-Down Control. It would be fascinating if teams of steemit users start to emerge and launch projects using principles of self-organization like these. The blockchain is the perfect place for something like an organic organization's constitution.

Steemit is already quite like that.. and will become more like that over time. Curie is an example. Others like steemprentice steemsports etc i believe is pretty much the same too, if not more relaxed than the usual rigid structures of traditional companies

Great, where do I need to apply!

Steemit is a giant example ;)

Interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you found it so :)
