Why are some company so successful?
It's a good question. I'd imagine there's a whole host of reasons as well. From timing to marketplace to user base. I think it's a cross between great timing decent luck and a good product.

I think the real path to success is having a purpose driven company. If your purpose is just to sell a product I think it might be difficult, however if your purpose is to make the lives of your customer easier by doing "X" and you base your philosophy and mission statement around that, perhaps that is a good way to grow.

But hey, what do I know. I'm not a multibillion-dollar corporation yet. lol.
