Allow me to add the following: Sometimes, it can seem like your customers are demanding more than you can afford to give. At that point, you must ask yourself why you are in business.

If you are in for the profit alone, it helps to create a list of what customers can expect beyond which you are not going to entertain.

However, if you want to give as much value as possible, you should be prepared to suffer some loss with the expectation that they would recognize and appreciate your effort.

More often than not, most business try to walk a fine line between the two. The best way to do that is use the first approach for new customers and the second for faithful customers.
