Hey!
Like I mentioned earlier, I have founded a company with my wife, Vera.
I am going to offer real-estate and vehicle photography services to other businesses, communities and people with either houses, apartments or cars for sale. I've noticed that not many photos taken of such properties are very flattering, and I wanted to make a difference and give people a service that will make their sales much more appealing to the eye.
I named the company Ambifokus.
Also, I created a Steem account @ambifokus for our business. There I am going to post about photography, my work, and likely photos and videos of some of my projects. So follow me there!
On my personal accounts @gamer00 and @ambyr00 I will still keep posting things about me, my family and our hobbies. I only hope I will have the time and energy for both. Wish me luck on that!

I will need to invest in a new tripod, and a couple of remote triggers too. But hey I bet now that I've got this going I will be rolling in cash soon. ;S (Yeah, right... well one can hope.)

We will see. I already have a wide-angle lens, but it doesn't really do what I need it to. What I need is a lens that can keep focus locked between shots, and my current one doesn't. So I am positive the new lens might bring some new possibilities to my photography.
The new lens also allows for a camera body upgrade. My camera is starting to fall apart with age, so I might have to upgrade the body soon, and go full-frame while at it. While the old lens sure produced good images, I can't use it on a full-frame body if and when I will upgrade to one.

That is a huge step! There are many real estate companies that could use you! They take terrible pictures here unless they hire one out. As a thought, which you probably already dreamed it, places like zillow.com and all the real estate sites that are online usually will hire people to take their pictures.
As far as the drone, you can get a cheapie to practice with and see how it goes. I got one that cost less than $30.00 but guess what? I know how to fly one now and take pictures.
Good luck with the lens! 12-24 is a sweet one and I wish you well in your new adventure! I get a lot of equipment second hand from B&H Photo here in New York City. Not sure if they ship your way, but, they always have stellar equipment and I have never had a problem before. Makes it more affordable for us mere mortals. :)

You're quite right, most real estate photos are quite mediocre... I don't think most estate agent realize how much people look at houses and apartments online, before they even call an agent.

Very nice! Now that is an excuse to get a DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone. It shoots 4K 60fps...They use them for real estate photos and vids here!
Not sure if I really can do 4k video on my editing rig. It would need me start using something like Windows or a Mac. That's a jump I'm not really wanting to make. Maybe if the software gets there, or I'll get enough money to burn for some really efficient hardware I might eventually do it on Linux too.

By the way, in Venezuela, some political changes are taking place, I think there is already a light at the end of the tunnel. Yesterday all Venezuela including me went out to protest pontificalmente.
Already the Finnish Chancellor gave support to the interim president who was sworn in yesterday before a large crowd of millions of people throughout Venezuela. I made a post in Spanish then I publish it in English.
