Not everything in life is adventure. While I enjoy facing the risk when I'm in the water, I prefer playing the safe game in my professional life. Emotions are important to double check your rational arguments (how does a certain decision make me feel?), but we shouldn't base important job decisions simply on our feelings. Business is hard and rough sometimes, and that's OK - as long as you're treated respectfully.
